Hi, I’m Danica!

One of my favorite things about being behind the chair is getting to know the person sitting in it.  I love a good conversation, making people feel comfortable, and creating hair that feels completely like you. 

​

I have a love for dimensional colour and creating looks that work with your hair, your style and your lifestyle.  Whether we're keeping things soft and lived-in, adding richness and depth or making a bigger change, I love using colour to create dimension and bring your whole look together.

​

Extensions are another favourite of mine.  I love what beaded row extensions can do, whether it's adding a little extra fullness or creating more length and volume.  For me, it's all about creating a result that looks natural, blends beautifully and gives you hair you genuinely love wearing. 

​

Outside the salon, I’ve always had a passion for animals. I spent over 10 years in the saddle, riding and competing in the hunter/jumper ring, so that same dedication and attention to detail definitely shows up in how I approach my work behind the chair.

​

I’ve called Sunderland home for nearly a decade now, and from the moment I moved here, I knew this place was special. Getting to work in the heart of this community doing what I love has been such a gift, and it inspires me every day to keep learning and creating.
