Let’s get the most-asked question out of the way:
Why did I open a salon right here in Sunderland?

Easy—because this is home. I was born and raised here, moved away for a bit, and came right back. It’s an incredible place to raise a family (and with four kids, I need all the help I can get!). My husband and I love this community, and opening Haven was my way of pouring back into it.

I’ve been behind the chair for over 20 years now (which officially makes me wise, not just old, right?). I’ve trained with some of the best in the world, but what I’ve always loved most is the connection I get to build with each guest. The chats, the laughter, the venting—nothing is too TMI or off-limits. Whether you’re celebrating big wins or working through hard days, I’m here for it all. (Plotting revenge included… kidding. Mostly.)
